Risk mitigation and maintaining ‘business as usual’ were important considerations when Premier Foods selected ROC to work on the SAP HCM element of the Fusion programme. ROC’s considerable experience in large scale SAP HCM implementations was one of the main reasons it was chosen, along with its Best Practice HR accelerated solution, which the consultancy developed in conjunction with SAP. The best practice approach meant the project was based on proven processes, so configuration time could be kept to a minimum and the time taken to test the system could be maximised to ensure successful delivery.

ROC US wins SAP HCM implementation at National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd

ROC through its partner Towers Perrin, USA has been contracted to work with The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited on their integrated SAP HCM system. This engagement was as a result of a tender process amongst a number of known ERP service providers. “We are very excited about this project and how it will help NGC achieve their HR Service Delivery goals,” said Ray Bader, the ROC Project Manager. Susan Campbell-Nicholas, NGC’s Manager of Human Resources, added, “We were very impressed with ROC’s combination of technical skills and HR functional skills, and are confident this will be a very successful project”.

ROC’s offshore delivery centre in Bangalore, India is now in full operation. Headed up by Venkat A R, an experienced veteran in the SAP HCM industry, ROC India has already delivered some extremely demanding SAP self service functionality for customers who needed to improve on the standard functionality and usability on offer. Mike Thomas Benton, ROC’s offshore sponsor, said “I am very impressed by what the team in India is delivering to tight deadlines and tight budgets.
